Why travel to Revelstoke?

Revelstoke is famous for its epic outdoor adventures: North America’s longest ski run at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, world-class backcountry skiing and endless hiking and biking trails in Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks. In summer, the Meadows in the Sky Parkway leads to blooming alpine wildflowers and panoramic views, while waterfalls and river sports abound. The town itself is a delight, with historic buildings, indie shops, local breweries and a lively arts scene. Year-round, there’s a welcoming community spirit and plenty of live music, festivals and markets. But be ready for mountain weather – it changes fast, so pack layers and waterproofs. Winter is busy (book ahead!) and summer can bring crowds to trailheads and the resort. The town is remote, so plan your travel and book activities in advance. Wildlife is part of the experience, so follow safety guidelines, especially when hiking or camping. Still, Revelstoke’s mix of adventure, scenery and small-town warmth makes it a place you’ll want to come back to – again and again.
