Why travel to Calpe?

Calpe offers an irresistible combination of natural wonders and Mediterranean charm that's hard to find elsewhere on the Costa Blanca. The town's most distinctive feature, the 332-meter Peñón de Ifach rock, not only creates a breathtaking backdrop but also houses a nature reserve with rare plants and bird species that nature enthusiasts will adore. The rock literally divides the coastline into two beautiful bays with pristine beaches that invite you to relax under the Spanish sun. Beyond its natural beauty, Calpe is a paradise for food lovers, boasting numerous restaurants recognized by the Michelin guide where you can savor the freshest seafood caught daily at the local port. History buffs will appreciate the well-preserved old town with its narrow streets and archaeological sites dating back to Iberian, Roman and Arab times. What makes Calpe truly special is its unique position between mountains and sea, creating what the World Health Organization has called "one of the most favorable climates in the world for living and recreation," with 320 sunny days per year and pleasant temperatures year-round.
