Why travel to Grand Cayman?

If you crave clear water, soft sand and a laid-back but upscale vibe, Grand Cayman is a dream. Seven Mile Beach is legendary for its beauty, but there’s so much more: hand-feed wild stingrays at Stingray City, explore the mysterious Crystal Caves or hike the Mastic Trail through untouched forest. Nature lovers will find rare blue iguanas and vibrant birdlife, while foodies can sample everything from fresh seafood to Caribbean fusion. The island is famously safe and friendly, with excellent infrastructure and plenty of English spoken. It’s not all paradise: Grand Cayman is pricey, especially dining and accommodation and it gets busy when cruise ships dock. Some beaches can feel crowded in high season and driving is on the left. Hurricane season (June–November) can bring storms, though most days are sunny. Still, the island’s natural beauty and relaxed pace make it easy to fall in love.
