Naypyidaw International Airport serves as Myanmar’s main gateway to the capital city. Opened in 2006, it handles both domestic and international flights connecting to major Asian hubs like Bangkok and Singapore. The terminal features modern facilities including baggage claim areas, duty-free shops and seating for travelers. Located about eleven kilometers north of central Naypyidaw, the airport provides easy access via taxi or shuttle services. It plays a key role in supporting tourism and business travel to the region with regular schedules throughout the day.
