Gateway to Luanda’s vibrant coastal charm
Algano Machado Airport serves Luanda, Angola’s capital city. Opened in November 2010, it replaced the old airport with modern facilities and expanded capacity. The terminal handles both domestic flights and international routes to neighboring countries. Located about ten kilometers from downtown, the site includes a control tower, runways and passenger services such as baggage claim and customs. It represents Angola’s growing aviation infrastructure and supports tourism, trade and regional travel connections across West Central Africa.
