Best theme park destinations in South America

South America’s Top Theme Parks and Entertainment Hubs

South America has a much smaller selection of theme park than the Northern part of the Americas, but there are some great ones that are definitely worth visiting. Beto Carrero World in Brazil ranks among the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, combining rides with a safari park and a notable collection of attractions built over several decades. Neighbouring countries add smaller, more city-based parks further south.

The destinations on this list range from large-scale parks combining multiple attraction types within a single site to smaller urban parks built around more modest, family-oriented rides. Both reflect a steadily growing regional industry.

Booking tickets directly through official channels is highly recommended. Arriving early in the day also tends to mean shorter waiting times for the most popular rides.
